Michele began, as many little girls, her love affair with horses at an early age playing with her brothers and friends in many a wild adventure on a variety of horses and ponies. That love affair developed into a pursuit and passion for both dressage and breeding and she has happily ridden and competed on the results of her own breeding program.  Recently sold, Maurizio was Michele’s seven year old Trakehner cross gelding she bred from her quirky but talented Polish bred Arabian mare, Madam.  With Chris’ assistance and dedication to correct principles to guide her through the process, Michele brought Maurizio from those first few tentative steps under saddle to confident and successful  outings in his beginning dressage career. &n bsp;Under Chris's guidance, Michele also has enjoyed success with her 2nd homebred offspring out of Madam.  Mimosa by Happy Hour, is a beautiful five year old mare that brings Michele much satisfaction and joy in training - but with her love of breeding, Michele couldn't resist the opportunity to breed Mimosa in 2006, upon Judy Yancey's recommendation, to the Oldenburg stallion, Blue Hors Don Romantic (Don Schufro - Romancier - Mago xx) and is anticipating a long legged lovely "red headed" foal in early May 2007.   Mimosa will come back into training after her stint at motherhood, she has been much missed and Michele is looking forward to continuing their progress.  To See Mimi and Michele http://new.photos.yahoo.com/avondayfarm/album/576460762310755227 Mimi's new foal Lucy Lucy's First Nap    Lucy Inside with Mom    Lucy outside with Mom    Lucy the fashion model
